Please remember, all of our furniture is custom, made to order. Once your deposit is placed and your furniture begins production, no refunds or changes can be made. Please take the time to read your invoice and make your decision on your order carefully. Custom furniture orders are not refundable or exchangeable. Under certain circumstances, approved by Cowhide Western Furniture management only, exchanges can be made with a 40% re-stocking fee. Any expenses incurred to return merchandise back to Cowhide Western Furniture will be paid by the returning client. We want all of our customers to love their new furniture and be happy clients for many years. Please make sure all invoices are correct and decisions are made carefully before production begins.
UNITERS PURE PROTECTION PLAN INFORMATION
Furniture is typically the third-largest investment people make, behind a home and automobile. If you would like additional protection for your new investment, we offer a program through UNITERS PURE. This plan covers the following for 5 years and must be purchased before your furniture is delivered:
- Accidental stains, rips, tears, burns and punctures
- Accidental scratches, gouges, chips or dents that penetrate the top coat of hard surface finishes
- Water or beverage marks or rings
- 1 time pet damage claim
- A structural or component failure due to a defect in materials and workmanship during normal residential use that results in the breakage of frames, glass, mirrors, mechanisms, welds, swivel bases, recliner handles and assembled joints and includes component mechanical and electrical failures such as defective motors, massagers, vibrating units and heaters.
- Cracking, bubbling or peeling of the coating of finish on hard surfaces
- Seam and stitching separation: zippers, buttons and tufted buttons

WHAT IS COVERED?
- Manufacture Defects:In the event that you rustic furniture is compromised due to manufacture defects such as construction, stability, and structure.
- Finishes:Cowhide Western Furniture guarantees the stain and/or paint will not fade, flake, or wear off within the first two years of proper care and use.
- Upholstery:The upholstery for your rustic furniture is one of a kind. Defects such as loose or fallen nail heads and the hair on hide not shedding are covered by the warranty. The foam for your upholstered furniture is also covered in the event it breaks down during your warranty period.
LEATHER FURNITURE WARRANTY
Under conditions of normal usage, the frame is warranted to the original purchaser to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for as long as the purchaser owns the furniture.

Under conditions of normal usage, all mechanisms are warranted to the original purchaser to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for 3 years.
The leather is warranted against splitting and tearing for a period of 5 years. Since leather is a natural product, markings such as scars and variances in dyes lots can occur. Natural markings and variances do not constitute grounds for discounts or refunds of payments. Please make your decisions carefully when ordering custom furniture. Once the materials have been cut, your order is no longer eligible for return or refund. See Customer Information Sheet.
WOODEN RUSTIC FURNITURE
Cowhide Western Furniture does not manufacture bedroom, dining room, entertainment centers or any other pine furniture. We finish and upholster these pieces. The manufacturer of these rustic pieces does not offer any warranty on the construction. However, Cowhide Western Furniture does offer a limited warranty for rustic wooden furniture available for purchase.
The limited warranty period begins at the time that the product has been delivered to your home and/or the delivery receipt has been signed by a consignee. To use your warranty, you must be the original owner. You will need to submit the original sales receipt, invoice, and photos when making the claim. Additional information regarding how the product was stored, cared for, and users may also be necessary to include in your claim.
Please include your full name, the invoice number, phone number, email, sales receipt, photos, and any additional necessary information when filing your claim. Please note, Cowhide Western Furniture will notify you when your claim has been received. If you have not received an acknowledgment that your claim was successfully received and in progress within 48 business hours, please contact us.
The limited warranty for wood furniture includes structural or manufacturing defects. Please note, depending on your climate and the changing of seasons, humidity may affect the integrity of the pine wood. It is not recommended to purchase pine furniture in areas with extremely high or extremely low humidity. It is recommended that the humidity in your home be kept at about 35%. It may be necessary to purchase a humidifier or dehumidifier to control the climate in your home.
Rustic furniture is expected to shift over time; cracks, checks, and other imperfections are a normal occurrence and are not considered defects within the industry. It is common that dining chairs will gain some minor movement over time as they age in your home. Again, this is not a defect, but rather the breaking in of rustic furniture.
Normal Wear & Tear:
The warranty offered by Cowhide Western Furniture does not cover normal wear and tear such as, but not limited to, scratches, watermarks, sun damage, seasonal changes, climate change, tears, scuffs, indents, pet damage, etc.
Rustic furniture requires routine maintenance to ensure it maintains its look and integrity over time. Proper care and use are essential to your warranty claim, and if your furniture is deemed to have been not properly cared for, your warranty may be voided or defective. The furniture is intended for indoor use, and your warranty will be voided if your furniture has been outside at any point in time. Not caring for your furniture with the recommended products and techniques can also void your warranty.
It is not recommended to store your furniture outside of your home for any point in time. This includes garages, barns, normal storage facilities, and climate-controlled storage facilities. Drastic changes in humidity and temperature could affect the integrity of your furniture. If your furniture has been stored outside of your home, your warranty is no longer valid and able to use.
The warranty does not cover instances of an accident such as watermarks, dropping the furniture, compromising the furniture, adhesives to the furniture, or shipping damages. In the event that your furniture is damaged during shipment, a claim will need to be filed immediately with the carrier. All claims of damage will be fulfilled by the carrier, and only immediate reports of damage will be covered by Cowhide Western Furniture as outlined in our Terms.
Due to the artistic craftsmanship and use of natural materials, variations in color, wood grain, or construction a varied piece to piece. Please remember you are purchasing handcrafted materials and it is impossible for every piece to be the same. If Cowhide Western Furniture is replacing a piece of furniture, the color, dye-lot, size, and/or style may vary from your original order as we cannot control difference in paint/stain mix, leather dye-lots, and the uniqueness of the handcrafted material.
The purchaser is responsible for all transportation costs to and from your residence.
After you have submitted your claim, it will be necessary for Cowhide Western Furniture or an authorized company to inspect your furniture to determine whether a manufacturing defect exists.
This warranty details your legal rights within a limited warranty. The remedies provided under this warranty state the limit of Cowhide Western Furniture’s responsibilities in regard to warranty coverage and claims.
